Migratory Songs - World Polyphonies
Chet Nuneta
Today composed of three singers from Spain, France and Italy, a Franco-Moroccan percussionist and a Basque percussionist with multiple influences, CHET NUNETA presented on stage its new repertoire from its third and last album Agora (self-produced, 2016 – Inouïe Distribution).
CHET NUNETA is fully in line with the new traditional music of the world through its singular expression, here and now in this agora of polyphonic rhythms and songs.
Faithful to a spirit rather than a form, CHET NUNETA invites the spectator into a musical universe at the borders of theatrical and dance expressions, because the group has always had a physical approach to singing and rhythm. Beyond the voice, it is the bodies that resonate, inviting the audience to a real musical show.
Agora is a co-production Chet Nuneta / Le Chantier (Centre de création des nouvelles musiques traditionnelles et musique du monde) / Association Le Grain à Moudre with the support of ARDC La Maline and Art’ Cade (Scène Ariègeoise de musiques actuelles).
